H&M Opening This Fall In Old Town Alexandria

Attention all fashionistas! Your prayers have been answered, and an H&M is opening in Old Town, Alexandria this fall. Besides getting to shop the latest trends at low prices, we have lots of reasons to love H&M.

Lavin for H&M

Reason 1: H&M has so many fabulous designer collaborations including but not limited to: Versace, Lanvin, Jimmy Choo, and most recently, avant-garde label Maison Martin Margiela. It’s not every day you can wear designer clothing, but now H&M has made it fiscally possible.

Reason 2: Location, location, location!  According to the company’s website, H&M, which has roughly 2,500 stores spread across 44 markets around the globe, has a growth target to increase its number of stores by 10 percent to 15 percent annually. This can only mean more shopping in stores closer to us shop-a-holics! This new H&M will be located in the heart of Old Town at 614 King Street, where the Restoration Hardware used to be. With approximately 19,000 square feet, this store location is spacious enough to fit all your clothing and accessory wants for ladies, men, young ladies, young men, and kids.

Reason 3: I don’t think anyone can forget this year’s Super Bowl commercial featuring David Beckhamfor H&M Bodywear. Need I say more?

Previously Restoration Hardware, H&M will be located in the heart of Old Town.

I love H&M, and now there will be a store so close for Northern Virginians, without having to go into DC. Even if you don’t shop at H&M, you should stop by once the store opens. The interior decorations should be nothing short of spectacular since H&M plans to alter the new store at a cost of nearly $1 million. A target opening date has not yet been disclosed, but we’ll be anxiously waiting.
