Wine Walk And Shop On The Mile In Coral Gables To Benefit The United Way

It’s that time of year again – time to Wine Walk & Shop on the Mile! The event is presented by United Way Miami Wine & Food Festival and the Business Improvement District of Coral Gables to benefit the United Way of Miami-Dade.

This is one of my favorite events! It kicks off with a sampling of light and refreshing wines for the hot summer days. Each guest receives a wine-tasting glass and an event program that provides an overview of each of the participating shops.

Wine lovers will enjoy Chartogne-Taillet Champagne, Honig Sauvignon Blanc, Coquena Torrontes and Lunta Malbec, among others, served with lite bites and receive special pricing on merchandise at select shops.

Wine Walk & Shop on the Mile begins at Seasons 52 and ends at Wolfe’s Wine Shoppe, where featured wines will be available for purchase at a special 15-20 percent discount to all Wine Walk & Shop guests. Afterwards, guests can enjoy dinner at a special discounted rate at Angelique Euro Cafe.

This event will kick off the United Way Miami Wine & Food Festival’s 18th year, being the first of several year-round events leading up to the Festival in April 2013.
