NFL players gather from around the country to support Palm Beach County youth at the Brandon Flowers Charity Event Weekend. Prep & Sports, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 by NFL players  to help young people attain the education and inspiration to attend college.

“I wish every kid could be a part of this program. I know this program makes a difference for a student athlete, said Brandon Flowers, Defensive Back Kansas City Chiefs. Flowers hosts a 7-on-7 tournament in Palm Beach each July. ”7-on-7 football is a big, big thing in Florida so I bring in all of the best high schools around, and I let them battle it out for a big gold trophy at the end of the competition,” Flowers said to journalist Derek Ciapala.

Prep and Sports prepares middle and high school students to take college standardized tests. The organization provides weekly educational guidance, life skill mentoring, athletic training, and coaching at the Delray Beach Seacrest sports complex. The Prep and Sports program is designed to both train the mind and body while inspiring students to believe in the value of opportunity, hope, and service to others.
