Atlanta Foundation For Public Spaces Hosts Sandy Springs Artsapalooza

Hosted by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces (AFFPS), this year’s Sandy Springs Artsapalooza is not only an art festival, but a celebration of the founding the city. The Artists Market, which will be held July 7-8, features some of Georgia’s finest artists, craftsmen, and musicians. It’s also a great way to discover what the city of Sandy Springs has to offer.

Residents and visitors alike will enjoy:

  • 150 artists and artisans lining the route
  • A children’s area and carnival attractions
  • Gourmet foods
  • Local acoustic music

The AFFPS is holding this inaugural, two-day outdoor fair on the site of the proposed new city center. Easy to find from Roswell Road and I-285, the Sandy Springs Artsapalooza will transform the former Target property and adjacent Johnson Ferry Road into an area where friends, family, neighbors, and visitors can gather together for a weekend of fun.

The event is free to attend, and there will be plenty of parking. Join the AFFPS to support your local artists and celebrate the city of Sandy Springs!

WHEN: Saturday, July 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
