Downtown Seattle’s about to get a brand new bag — event space, that is. Business partners Grace Hoffman and Jerry Everard are known for their Sole Repair Shopjust off Pike on Capitol Hill. The duo has done it again, and this time it’s got 1920s appeal and can accommodate up to 300 guests for cocktail parties and 190 for seated events. The space — dubbed 1927 Events, in ode to its chic address and even chicer decor — proves perfect for weddings, birthday parties, dinners and special events.

Just like Sole Repair Shop, catering is provided by Feed Co Cateringwhich is headed up by Scott Staples of hotspots Restaurant Zoe and Quinn’sThe space also features 18-foot ceilings, exposed brick and beams, and sliding wood doors.
