Dubbed as the family “famous for being famous,” the Kardashians have become household names since their 2005 public debut. Introduced to the world by what could have been a reputation-ruining situation, Kim Kardashian and her family have managed to build a popular media empire to become one of the most powerful and influential families in Hollywood. With a successful reality show (Keeping Up with the Kardashians, recently renewed for at least two more seasons) and spin-off shows, a chain of D-A-S-H Boutique stores in LA, Miami and New York, a Sears-exclusive fashion line (Kardashian Kollection) launched fall 2011, a jewelry line (Belle Noel), endorsement deals in almost every platform imaginable, and most recently, a two-part interview with the Queen of Media on the Oprah’s Next Chapter show (“Part Two” airs this Sunday, June 24 on OWN at 8PM EST), the Kardashians are taking over the entertainment world, whether we like it or not.
Naturally as a clan largely about aesthetics and beauty (and perhaps a little craziness and drama), reality TV’s favorite family has expanded their brand to the beauty department gracing the aisles with their fragrances, skincare products, and soon a lot more.
