Mexican food in New York has always been a home delivery kind of meal, until I went to ¡Vamos!,which also has a home delivery option, but why deliver when you can be enjoying the bustling ambiance of the restaurant itself?

Located on First Avenue, ¡Vamos! is a Mexican restaurant and bar that serves delicious meals at brunch and dinner. The Quesadillas and Queso Fundidos are to die for and their variety of tacos will ensure you keep coming back, just so you can try them all. The dishes are well-balanced between vegetarian and non-vegetarian as well as between spicy and non-spicy items, so that everyone is able to enjoy a meal at the restaurant and enjoy the unique atmosphere. In the warmer seasons be sure to take advantage of the outside seating which gives you an entirely different perspective of the neighborhood around you.

The food may not be “authentic” Mexican food, but it’s still delicious. The dishes are reasonably priced, and the constant buzzing environment of the restaurant provides the perfect setting to meet new people while enjoying great food. However, if you don’t like crowded, busy restaurants, then refrain from eating at ¡Vamos!, as it is almost always full and the tables are aligned close together.
