Minkyti Facial At Austin’s Woodhouse Spa

My Signature Minkyti Facial at Woodhouse Spa was just perfect! It was a relaxing but very detoxing facial and just the thing my skin needed in time for the official start of the summer season.

The anti-aging facial run 80 minutes and is great for all skin types and anti-aging. My therapist was Jenn M and she took such fantastic care of my skin and really walked me through every step of the process perfectly. I definitely want to see her again on my next trip back.

The facial begins with a calming ritual with deep breathing and essential oil. Then I enjoyed warm foot cozies to relax my feet in during most of the treatment. Next is a deep cleansing, skin polish and steam followed by the dreaded (but essential!) exfoliation.

While it’s never a pleasurable experience Jenn made my exfoliation as painless as possible and it was quick too. The exfoliation is followed by a replenishing aloe mask and Jenn massaged my shoulders, arms, hands and feet while the mask dried. I did not want that part to end, she was great at knowing exactly the right amount of pressure to apply, and being very mindful of an injured foot.

After the mask I had a facial massage with lavender oil and then a finishing antioxidant mask. Jenn finished the treatment by giving me a healthy amount of SPF moisturizer before sending me out in the harsh Texas weather. My skin glowed, I had a little bit of redness for a few days as my skin was healing and readjusting to all of the extra care, but it was just a fantastic treatment and I would definitely recommend this facial before every season.

Woodhouse Spa’s product line is Naturopathica but they also include Skinceuticals in their treatments and I was so pleased with one of the products, and on Jenn’s recommendation, I purchased Skinceutical LHA Solution (toner) for my personal use.

They do not expire and can be shared or gifted so it’s a fantastic deal that can be used over the next few years even!
