First Annual Buckhead Chili Pepper Fest

Can you take the heat? Find out at Atlanta’s First Annual Buckhead Chili Pepper Fest. Located at Eclipse Di Luna on Miami Circle, this firey event will take place in the huge outdoor parking lot and inside the restaurant on Saturday, June 23rd from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. This year’s red hot eats include spicy BBQ, spicy chicken tacos, veggie empanadas with adobe chipotle peppers, paella with cayenne and chipotle, and more. You’ll find your favorite spicy foods and drinks from Eclipse Di Luna, King of Pops, D.B.A. Barbecue, and Paul’s Taco truck.

You can also sit back, relax and enjoy live music as you tickle your taste buds. The festival will feature three local live bands: Behind the Sun (Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute), El Scorcho (Weezer Tribute), and Ryan & the Saints. Go inside and you’ll find a D.J. spinning American and Latin Top 40s along with a roaming Mariachi band, sketch artists and more.

If you’re in the mood for a challenge, there will be a hot chili pepper and a fiery taco eating contest with first place prizes of $100.
