Vinolution Wine Event To Benefit The Market Foundation In Seattle

It’s not hard to convince me on the reasons why I would want to attend a local wine event, and in particular the second annual Vinolution promises to be fun, interesting and unexpected. When the event description stated that it would appeal to those who think “a big glass of red wine goes great with a juicy cheeseburger,” I was sold.

Vinolution is focused on promoting new, up-and-coming wineries, local spirits, breweries and food sourcesWineries including Dusted Valley, Efeste, Mark Ryan, Sparkman Cellars and many others will be offering tastings. And wine will be paired with fare from local restaurants, including Wild Ginger, Ethan Stowell Restaurants and Cantinetta.

The event will also have auction items from the vintners to benefit The Market Foundation, whose mission is to preserve and enhance the traditions and diversity of the Pike Place Market community. They support human service agencies and low-income housing all located within the Pike Place Market historical district, including the Downtown Food Bank, Pike Market Senior Center, Pike Market Childcare & Preschool and Pike Market Medical Clinic.
