Kristen Kwiatkowski is a freelance writer who enjoys writing about many different subjects. Having previously written for Miss A Annapolis, Kristen is pleased to continue this exciting journey with Miss A Philadelphia. Since she was born and raised in the Philadelphia area, it is wonderful for her to get back to her hometown and discover all of the new aspects of the city as well as enjoy all of the old favorite places and exciting events which the Philadelphia area offers. Kristen has spent many extraordinary years as a military spouse and has had the opportunity to live in many different locales while experiencing the flavor and flair of these different regions. She has an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and a juris doctorate degree as well so her love for the law is readily apparent. However, Kristen enjoys writing on subject matter in addition to the law including real estate, food and wine, restaurant reviews, cultural events, music and online marketing. Ranging from informative review pieces to creative short stories, writing has become an enjoyable way of life for her and one which she is not soon to leave behind. Silopanna 2012 Brings CAKE, Citizen Cope, G. Love & Special Sauce And Other Bands To Annapolis

Each year music fans in the Annapolis area eagerly await the announcement of bands for the annual Silopanna Music Festival. That time of year has finally arrived and the lineup is a fantastic one, to say the least.

On August 11, 2012, the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds will be filled with fans of all ages enjoying a day of music, food, cold beverages and camaraderie with other Annapolis-area music fans.  The eclectic Silopanna 2012 lineup includes the unique musicality of CAKE, the popular Citizen Cope which sees a great following in the Annapolis/DC area and Philly’s own G. Love & Special Sauce with their hip-hop blues style.  In addition to these bands, festival goers will have the opportunity to hear music from over 15 other bands ranging anywhere from solo artists with acoustic guitars and soulful lyrics to bands with their minds set on bringing good old rock to the stage.  Here are all the bands which Silopanna festival attendees will be lucky enough to see on August 11, 2012:

Having been born and raised in the Philly area, I must say I have a soft spot for G. Love & Special Sauce and every time I hear their music I am immediately drawn in.  With that said, I am eagerly anticipating the other acts as well.  Silopanna 2012 offers lovers of music an opportunity to spend the entire day not only listening to their favorites but being able to discover new musical acts also.  Not only does the Silopanna Music Festival feature musical acts from the Annapolis/DC area but from around the country as well.

TICKETS:  Early bird tickets are $49.50 plus tax/surcharge (from June 15-June 22); Regular price tickets are $59.50 plus tax/surcharge (from June 23-August 10); Tickets day of the festival are $75.
