On June 6th, Baby Buggy threw one of New York City’s biggest family charity events—the 2012 Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash. This year’s family-fun party featured carnival rides, arts and crafts, face painting, and other kid-friendly activities. Celebrities such as Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld, Mariska Hargitay, Tiffani Thiessen, Nigel Barker, Rosie Pope (Pregnant in Heels), Devon Aoki, Ali Wentworth, Rebecca Minkoff, Kristi Yamaguchi, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Erica Reid, Stacey Bendet Eisner, Beth Buccini, Stefani Greenfield, Jill Martin, and Sarah Easley all came out to support the event. All ticket proceeds benefited Baby Buggy, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential equipment, products, clothing, and services to parents and children in need.
Baby Buggy was also honored to welcome 75 fathers and children from the Forestdale Fatherhood Initiative as VIP guests. The Forestdale Fatherhood Initiative—one of Baby Buggy’s grantee sites—is an innovative 12-week course that includes parenting and relationship skills, job and education counseling, and anger management courses to help men become stronger fathers for their children.
