Spending summer in Denver should be one of the top ten places to go. Besides entertaining Denverites with an exuberance of activities, we recently earned a top ten in Yahoo’s article on the best places to live in the U.S. so it’s no surprise to find out-of-towners flocking to Denver to catch the sun.
On June 16, Kevin Larson Presents, an events promotion company that hosts Denver’s top extravaganzas such as Shoes & Brews and Haunted Hotel, is taking advantage of the Colorado summer and bringing you Liquid Fashion, a trendy pool party to benefit Love Hope Strength Foundaion at the Cherry Creek Athletic Club.
Love Hope Strength Foundaion (LHSF) is an international, music-centric cancer charity dedicated to saving lives. Rather then funding cancer research, LHSF use their funds to build and support cancer centers around the globe, build awareness and grow an international marrow data base.
Two potentially life-saving matches were located in Shoes and Brews and the Haunted Hotel for patients needing marrow donors and this time, the goal is to have 100% of attendees at Liquid Fashion to sign up for the list. The process is as easy as 1,2,3 where all it takes is a simple cheek swab, which would be sent to lab to determine your tissue type and the data is then entered into the National Marrow Donor Program registry in anonymous form.
In addition to the good cause, Liquid Fashion will give you the VIP pool party experience. You’ll find two olympic size swimming pools, bottle service, 250 lounge chairs, cabanas and several levels for you to enjoy the Colorado sun. Entertainment includes performances by P-knuckle and DJ Kostas from HOT 107.1. Local buisnesses such as Gnat Jewelers, Colorado Skin Care, Guiltless Glow, Max Muscles will be at attendance providing specials and tips on how to look your best this summer.
Lounge, network, mingle, eat, drink – whatever you do, Liquid Fashion is the perfect summer event under the Colorado sun. So Whip out your swim wear along with your favorite sundress, shorts or summer top and join the cause.
