What’s Red and Blue and Pink all over? The Victoria’s Secret Pink launch at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, of course! The May 31^stlaunch marks the first of the VS Pink store of its kind. Their latest line is part of the new co-branding collection between the major league baseball team Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and PINK.

The line includes PINK/MLB t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, boy shorts and other underwear items. The festive sports-inspired gear fuses official Anaheim team’s logo with the sassy colors and lace details Victoria’s Secret is known for. And for a super-cute twist, the merchandise bears cheeky phrases such as “Play Ball” and “I’m A Great Catch”.

The Victoria’s Secret PINK/MLB partnership already includes baseball teams such as the LA Dodgers, San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox and Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Twins, and many others.

There to commemorate the new collaboration were gorgeous Victoria’s Secret PINK model, Elsa Hosk, and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher C.J. Wilson. The Swedish-born Hosk has also modeled for mega designers Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana and Guess. Newport Beach native C.J. Wilson, whose techniques include maneuvers like “the cutter” “the slider” and “the four-seam fastball”, has also pitched for the Texas Rangers.

The event was a giant success—not to mention lots of fun for the first 100 fans in line who got the chance to pose for pictures with Hosk and Wilson. The two also had fun mugging it up for the camera together during the event. And the posh new Fashion Island store also offered fans a great mix & match and two PINK items for a mere $28, making each item only $14 per piece—talk about a great catch!
