A Taste of Charlotte is North Carolina’s largest annual food festival set in the upbeat area of Uptown Charlotte. The festival features a plethora of Charlotte’s hottest restaurants who, when combined, create a menu of over 100 food items and beverages.

In addition to sampling there are other activities that take place. Food Lion and Chiquita presents Crossroads that features interactive play areas for children such as rock climbing and a trackless train. AT&T presents The Marketplace, an eclectic open air market with everything from handcrafted home designs to custom jewelry. New Belgium Brewery hosts Tavern at the Taste which offers a special dining area and live music that you can enjoy while sampling micro-brews, specialty beers, and a unique selection of wines.

Center Stage will feature bands performing music from all decades and genres. There will be 75 recycling cans placed throughout the event site to keep Charlotte clean and green! This is the 12th year Taste has been celebrated and it is not too late to make this a family tradition.

There is no admission price but special event coins must be purchased to buy food and beverage.  Bravo! Italian Cucina, Spice 9, and Mert’s Soul Food are just a small portion of the restaurants you may indulge. The event is a great opportunity to spend quality time with your friends or family while enjoying some awesome eats! Come out, enjoy, and get your personal “taste of Charlotte.”
