The reigning queen of “American Idol” and former “Jenny from the Block” hip-hop mogul Jennifer Lopez has been named The Most Powerful Celebrity by Forbes magazine. The regal J.Lo, who we must admit gets better looking (and more fit!) with age, is 42 years old and knocks last year’s [much younger] winner Lady Gaga off the list to move up 49 places from her #50 spot in 2011.

The annual list put out by Forbes ranks the top 100 most powerful celebrities according to their income over a 12-month time-frame and their overall (and social) media presence on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter–Jennifer has 12 million+ Facebook fans and 7+ million Twitter followers (follow her @JLo)

Single, stylish mom: Somehow, amidst a crazy schedule she finds time to be a mom to her adorable 4-year-old twins Max and Emme, look hot while doing it and stay cordial and amicable with father Marc Anthony. The two even worked together to develop and produce the Latin talent competition reality show Q’Viva: The Chosen.

Reality TV knockout: As American Idol’s only woman judge, J.Lo has been an insightful force to contestants on the 2011 and 2012 seasons –which arguably are two of the show’s strongest seasons in history. In addition, she also dresses the part, donning stylish new looks each week which just add to her stunning figure.
