The 2nd Annual New York City Women’s Empowerment Summit is June 23rd, 2012 at the Downtown Community Television Center. It is a one-day conference for all ages to meet and share stories of success, practices, and networking. The summit is designed to create new bridges and a comprehensive awareness of political, social and economic causes. The panel of speakers includes Roberta Flack and Rita Cosby, and a variety of successful women from all genres of business and life. They are partnering with Room21 learning systems to help develop social network platforms.
Alycia Kaback, who is the founder of the Kaback Talent Academy, a 12-month coaching program to help men and women achieve their goals, sponsors the event. Other sponsors of the event include Pretzel Crisps, Beauty 101, Georgetown Cupcake, The IT Factor, and Colby Models.
Tickets include access to the event, continental breakfast, lunch, wine and deserts. In addition, each ticket holder will receive a gift bag containing various goodies from the sponsors. Last year’s goodie bag was valued at $500.
All proceeds will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
