I raced to the chilly pool at Mr. C’s Hotel in Beverly Hills to speak with three Victoria’s Secret Angels - Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton and Lindsay Ellingson. When the girls arrived I kept saying “WOW.”

Each girl came out in a flowing colorful dress with their perfect angelic faces looking like a girl-next-door dream. Around 50 photographers took pictures and screamed at the girls to look this way, pose this way, kiss the camera, show us the new bra, and so on. It was like controlled mayhem and the girls were pros. Afterwards, numerous TV cameras surrounded each girl to ask them questions and then writers like me finally had our turn with the girls, being able to sit down in the sun and ask them some fun questions.
The 7th Annual “What is Sexy?” List was revealed recently and the girls discussed the celebrity winners that have been named to this year’s “What Is Sexy?” List and so much more. The List names these hot stars to categories such as Sexiest Smile, Sexiest Legs, Sexiest Beach Body, Sexiest Mom and Sexiest TV Cast. Here’s a video peak at this year’s winners.

Secret has launched the VS Knockout bra and the Victoria’s Secret Bombshell, The Summer Edition fragrance. VS Knockout is this newest push-up without wires. The bra includes cushioned support, a sexy balconet shape and wild colors guaranteed to turn up the temperature. Giving a real punch to the Knockout summer look, the new scent is luscious, tropical, and bright with drops of Jasmine Dew, a spark of White Amber and a kiss of Starfruit.

What is sexy?
To me sexy is summer. I love summer. I’m from California (San Diego) so immediately when I’m in warm weather I feel my sexiest. You can really wear those skimpy bathing suits on the beach and really bare it all and embrace your curves.
What are your best sexy beach bod tips?
I’m all about toning your glutes and hamstrings. I love to wear the cheeky bathing suits that Victoria Secret has, so I do butt crunches and have my pilates instructor really focus on those areas.
Is there anything you want to share about the “What is Sexy?” List?
Victoria Secret is the expert on sexy. This is the 7th Annual “What is Sexy?” List. A stand out for me on the list is Jessica Chastain. She won Sexiest Smile and I saw her in The Help and I thought she had a smile that you can’t help but love.
Who do you think is the sexiest man alive right now?
Can I say a guy who has a girlfriend already? Is his name Liam Neison? Oh! I am really bad with celebrities. (With some help we came up with his name) Liam Hemsworth from the Hunger Games!!! He’s sexy. I like him.
What are you must go to stops when you are in LA?
I have to go to Fred Segal and Urth Cafe.
Since you are from San Diego, what is one place you recommend there?
When I was in college at UCSD, I would literally walk five minutes to these cliffs that overlook Blacks Beach and that is where I would study and read. It was amazing! I definitely recommend going there. It is in La Jolla.
Do you have any fun summer travel plans?
I am going to Croatia. I have never been.
What are some of your biggest passions outside of modeling?
I love dogs. I have two dogs here in California. I am going to see them tomorrow. I can’t wait! They are two west island terriers. I have a jewelry line that I started and I donate some of the proceeds to the Humane Society. I love designing and creating jewelry too. My favorite designer is Elsa Peretti out of Tiffany’s.
What is the best advice you have ever gotten from your mother?
My mom really believes in me, more than I believe in myself, so she is always saying “You can do it.”
How do you unwind after a really hard day?
I love taking baths. I jump into a really large bubble bath and a glass of wine is always nice.
What are your must-have beauty items for summer?
I’m obsessed with the body oil – Bombshell Summer Edition. It is great for summer, smells so tropical and oil is great for when you are on the beach. I also love refreshing mists – Osea, it is an all natural product line. They have different types of mists and sprays you can use when it is hot.
Tell us about your worst date.
I met this guy for a drink at this Korean BBQ place. We were sitting at the bar that was right near the barbecue and they were cooking onions, peppers, meat, and all this smoke was coming into my eyes the entire time. First of all, when I got to the date I knew in the first five seconds I was not into this guy. He had a pink sweater over his shoulders and weird slip-on shoes. I knew he was not my type at all. I had to suffer through the onions burning my eyes for an hour and then I just never talked to him after that.
What’s on your iPod playlist right now that you love?
Bjork. “Human Behavior” is my favorite song right now. I think people get annoyed with me on set when I am working because I play that song all day long.

What do you think is sexy? Dressed up or dressed down?
I feel very sexy in underwear. You know, in your hotel room when you are in your underwear and your T-shirt and you are with your boyfriend or husband or a date. Waking up… underwear, long T-shirt, really casual, I think that is really sexy… Your hair messy from the night before, you know?
Do you have any sexy beach bod tips?
Workout! But also wearing the right bikini or bathing suit is very important because if you don’t feel comfortable in what you are wearing, it’s impossible to feel sexy. I think when you work out you feel good about yourself. Going to the beach and knowing you have done everything you can, as well as eating healthy.
Is there anything you want to share about the “What is Sexy?” List?
I am really excited about the “What is Sexy?” List we announce every year. This year I am really excited Beyonce is on the list as Sexiest Mom. She just had her baby and she looks incredible. [I wanted to say AND SO DO YOU!] For a woman to have a baby, they have to go through so much, and then to look so good after and go to all these events. I saw her at the Met Ball. To me, she deserves to be the sexiest person ever.
What is the best advice you have ever gotten from your mother?
To do what I wanted to do. She was always very supportive in that. That’s when you can feel sexy when you do something you love. That was her best advice. Both of my parents actually, and she made me feel I could do whatever I wanted to do. She gave me that freedom and didn’t push me towards any job that I shouldn’t be doing.
What are you doing for Mother’s Day?
I don’t know. I would love to have some breakfast made by my husband and with my son and doing something together. That would be nice.
What are some of your biggest passions outside of modeling?
I love to make iMovies… making movies of trips that I have been on and also about my family. It is really nice to have that memory because you end up with all these pictures and movies. I get so many things on YouTube, but I want to have my own little movies that I made and it’s a lot of fun.
Who would you love to see perform at the Victoria Secret fashion show?
Rolling Stones maybe or Beyonce. I would love to see her do “Girls Around the World” because we are all girls, and very supportive of each other. It is very empowering to see what she does and to have her there would be great.
Besides your husband, who do you think is the sexiest man alive right now?
I think Rick Fox. Lakers. He was also in a movie – Ugly Betty? I think he is married to Vanessa Williams. I think he is something my husband could look like when he turns grey.
What are your must-have beauty items for summer?
Waterproof mascara, SPF, and maybe tinted moisturizer because I am always careful in the sun, so my face always looks lighter.
Do you have any summer travel plans?
I think I am going to Ibiza. It’s known to be a party island. It is fun to do, but I rent a house, stay with my family, and go party if I want to. I will be there for two weeks.

How do you feel sexy? Dressing up or dressing down?
I think sexiness comes from within. It is about your confidence, about really being confident with who you are and whether you take that to pajamas, jean shorts, tank tops, or you take that to a ball gown. It’s always you, and you always embody your personality and that’s what makes you sexy, what radiates. I love dressing up. I have so much fun when I dress up. I love make-up. I love hair. I’m a girly girl… I love all that stuff. I love wearing dresses, but there is something sexy about not having any make-up on, just being natural, that also feels sexy to me. So I can’t choose.
Do you have any sexy beach bod tips?
To run. Nobody likes to run, but when you do it, you feel good about yourself and you feel like you have done something positive for your body and for your health. It makes you sweat. It makes you feel good after. It releases stress and your whole body looks better. Make sure you stretch after.
What are your biggest passions outside of modeling?
I am working with this organization called the Global Poverty Project and that’s really taken over my mind right now. You should check it out. It’s a really incredible organization that’s just finding its feet in the US right now. It was in Australia and it made a huge difference in the world already and we need to raise awareness in the states because it is just getting started. It’s an exciting time to be a part of it.
What would you be doing if you weren’t a model?
I’d be a doctor. I was going to study biology and that’s how I was scouted. I love science. I love medicine. My brother is pre-med now so he kind of did that for me, at least someone in my family is doing it, but that is probably where I would’ve ended up.
What are your summer travel plans?
Not sure yet, but I definitely will be going somewhere new. I love to explore. I love to travel. I’d love to go on safari or be on a beach. I want to go somewhere crazy, new, and unexpected and spontaneous..
How do you unwind after a very hard day?
Music. Music is the best way to unwind. For me, it changes my whole mood. It makes me feel however I want to feel. It can make me mellow. It can make me feel romantic, happy, make me energized to go run, energized to go dance, calm. I am just obsessed with music.

What’s on your iPod playlist right now that you love?
I just discovered this band that I love – the Alabama Shakes. I have been listening to a lot of old music too, like Hall and Oats.
What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Astrology. I love to read. I map people’s star signs. If I had the motivation to read every book like I read astrology drawings, readings, and charts and things like that, I’d be a doctor by now. It’s my indulgence and fantasy. I’m obsessed with astrology.
Tell us about your worst date.
One of them was when a guy took me to a movie and it was so bad I feel asleep, so it was just embarrassing. It was a total dude movie. It didn’t touch on anything that a woman would ever like.
I am so impressed with not only how breathtakingly beautiful and classy each girl was in person, but how very real and down to earth these three Victoria Secret Supermodels are too.
