Allure Magazine’s Beauty Product Finder: The Solution To Your Beauty Needs

Developing a beauty regimen custom to your skin tone and type, hair type and concerns, and general beauty needs can be hard (and not to mention, expensive) work. We can all relate to the experience of aimlessly picking products from the overwhelming beauty aisles of Sephora and the likes, trying a new “must-have” beauty product that promises to change your life, or testing out a product a girlfriend or Mom swears by, only to be disappointed and less than impressed.

Even if you’ve successfully used the same beauty regimen for years, who doesn’t like to try something new (but useful) every so often? Change is good. Luckily, the searching process just got a whole lot easier. In the May issue of Allure, the self-proclaimed beauty expert magazine shares its awesome beauty creation – the online beauty product finder!

The Allure Beauty Product Finder (launched last summer and continuously updated) is a library of over 3,650 beauty products on the website, allure.com. The finder features Best of Beauty winners and nominees, Allure Editors’ favorites and almost-favorites, new launches, and all the worthy classics – all of which have been expertly tested. Struggling with dry hair? In need of a great anti-aging cream? On the hunt for a long-wear lipstick in the perfect shade of red? The finder will recommend the best products just for you. It’s like a menu that caters to your hair, skin, and makeup tastes. Having used it myself, I really appreciate how specific the finder is as well as the reviews (and ingredients list) of each product from the Allure editors and beauty consumers with similar concerns as my own who have already tried the product(s).

Browse which beauty category – hair, skin, or makeup – you want to focus your search on and choice the specifics within each category that apply to you and your beauty issues. After that, allow the beauty finder to configure the products you’ve been looking for. Once you’ve selected the products you’re most insterested in (by clicking on the “save to my favorites” button), you can create a private beauty product list to send to friends and family if you have a birthday (or Mother’s Day!) coming up and want to steer them in the right gift direction. Even if you want to treat yourself to a new beauty buy, many of the products are available for purchase through BeautyBar.com, a site Allure has partnered with. Beauty shopping couldn’t be any simpler!

Have you used the Allure Beauty Product Finder?
