Laura Evans is a 21-year-old college student at DePaul University. She was raised in New York City and moved to Chicago for college.. She is majoring in communications and media studies with a minor in community service studies, so Miss A is an excellent fit for her interests. She loves doing community service, but also enjoys exploring all that Chicago has to offer. Dangerous Curves Ahead Uses Fashion To Empower Women And Fight Homelessness

Dangerous Curves Ahead (DCA) is having their 4th annual Charity Fashion Show & Women’s Expo. The Fashion Show takes place every spring since 2009 at the Zhou B Art Center.  This spring’s event will feature a line-up of over 30 exhibitions to shop.It will be hosted by Jetta Bates, known for her media personality.

DCA is dedicated to fighting homelessness while embracing women of all sizes. A generous amount of the night’s profits will go to the A-Line Foundation. The non-profit organization provides free head-to-toe makeovers to mothers living in transitional housing facilities and shelters. In addition, DCA also supports the Chicago Homeless Coalition, Primo Center, and 2nd Chance Chicago.
