After graduating from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Communications, she moved to Atlanta and worked for CNN for 15 years. She is currently an entrepreneur who owns Eskimo Advertising, a full service boutique advertising and public relations agency. Her company combines targeted public relations and advertising with grassroots marketing, promotions and social marketing in order for her clients to receive great exposure in a cost effective manner.

Home Team BBQ And Fat & Juicy Present 2nd Annual Gimme Shelter Benefiting Operation Home

Operation Home announces the 2nd Annual Gimme Shelter presented by Home Team BBQ and Fat & Juicy on Saturday, May 12th at 6pm at the Navy Yard at Noisette, 10 Storehouse Row. The Big Easy comes to the Lowcountry with lively entertainment, funky music from Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe and a taste of New Orleans. Prepared by Home Team BBQ Executive Chef Aaron Siegel, the menu is complete with a Crawfish Boil, Jambalaya, Mini Po-Boys, Red Beans and Rice as well as plenty of Hurricanes and more. Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. Shuttle Hogs will provide transportation from set locations for a minimal fee where half of fare is donated to Operation Home.

Operation Home’s mission is to help low-income residents of the tri-county area remain in their homes by increasing safety and accessibility through the coordination of critical home repairs. Their work focuses on the people the most in need including households that contain children, people with disabilities or older adults. Operation Home is committed to ensuring that no person has to live in a home that is inaccessible or dangerous.
