Perry Dog, an up-and-coming pet fashion line, will be hosting the “paw-tay,” Perry to the Rescue on May 6. All proceeds will go to Annie’s Little Angels Small Breed Dog and Cat Rescue, a local non-profit organization dedicated to small dog breed and cat rescue.
The charity is inviting humans to come socialize with each other and spend the afternoon pampering their dogs (30 pounds and under). All dogs will receive a free massage by Canine Massage Chicago and nail trimming by Pet Care Plus. There will be a raffle on new Perry Dog clothing items. There will also be complimentary pet portraits.
This is the first event sponsored by Perry Dog to benefit local pet charities. Perry Dog plans to hold many more events. Julia Morel, a Chicago jewelry designer, and Seth Kammueller, a Chicago photographer, founded Perry Dog in 2010. The main mission of Perry Dog is to help animals find good homes.
