The heat is on at Cantina Beach during Cinco de Mayo with a spicy celebration at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne for their Cinco de Mayo fiesta. Contrary to widespread popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day, which is actually celebrated on September 16.
Rather commemorate and celebrate the infamous “Batalla de Puebla” between France and Mexico at the regions only oceanfront, coastal Mexican restaurant, Cantina Beach. The fiesta begins with complimentary bites of freshly prepared guacamole by the restaurant’s expert Guacamoliers. Ocean breezes and mariachis create the perfect accompaniment for the fiesta’s complimentary Milagros tequila and margarita samplings.
Chef Andres Parlange pays homage to the land of the battle with a specialty menu and Tacos Arabes display (also known as Tacos Orientales), famous in Puebla and rarely seen outside its city limits.
