Kristy Emery is graduated with a degree in Marketing and Management from Penn State University, and has always had an appreciation for beautiful things. She became a licensed aesthetician to combine her passions for skincare and makeup with her love of business, and is now an account manager for a luxury cosmetic company. In her current position she motivates, inspires, and teaches women how to maximize their potential. In addition to skincare and makeup, Kristy has partnered with her sister to create Orgotton, a women's clothing and accessory line made from organic and sustainable materials.

Tribute To Tony Bennett In Words And Music To Benefit The Center For Literacy In Philadelphia

This Monday, April 9th, at 7:30 p.m., the Suzanne Roberts Theater, in association with the Philadelphia Theater Company, will be hosting a Tribute to Tony Bennett in Words and Music benefitting The Center for Literacy.

Philadelphia-born singer and bandleader, Eddie Bruce, will be performing with the Tom Adams Trio.  Bruce has been a devoted Bennett fan for over 20 years and cites him as an inspiration.

Joining Bruce onstage will be David Evanier, author of All the Things You Are, a Tony Bennet biography, and jazz deejay Bob Perkins. Both will be interjecting personal anecdotes throughout the performance of Bennett and his life.

A portion of ticket sales will benefit Philadelphia’s Center for Literacy, the nation’s largest and Pennsylvania’s first non-profit community literacy provider.  Their mission is “to unleash the power of literacy to improve lives through a wide range of literacy services, including reading, writing, math, life, technology and work skills, to help a diverse population of learners meet their needs and achieve their personal and employment-related goals”.

WHEN: Monday, April 9th at 7:30 p.m. and Doors open at 7 p.m.

TICKETS: Tickets are $50 for general admission and $150 for patron tickets.  Patron tickets include premium seating, a meet and greet with the performers after the show during a dessert reception, an autographed copy of Evanier’s All The Things You Are, and a copy of Bruce’s CD Bruce on Bennett.General Admission $50, Patron Ticket $150.
