Kristy Emery is the Philadelphia City Editor for Miss A. She graduated with a degree in Marketing and Management from Penn State University, and has always had an appreciation for beautiful things. She became a licensed aesthetician to combine her passions for skincare and makeup with her love of business, and is now an account manager for a luxury cosmetic company. In her current position she motivates, inspires, and teaches women how to maximize their potential. In addition to skincare and makeup, Kristy has partnered with her sister to create Orgotton, a women's clothing and accessory line made from organic and sustainable materials. Dancing With The Philadelphia Stars To Benefit Sickle Cell Research

Dancing with the Philadelphia Stars returns for it’s fourth year to help raise money to fight Sickle Cell Disease.  On April 22nd at The Crystal Tea Room, nine of Philadelphia’s finest Philebrities will kick up their heels and do the foxtrot, waltz and tango from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

On the dancing roster are Councilwoman Marian Tasco, beauty expert for Talk Philly and owner of Verde Salon Kevin Gatto, co-owner of Skin Palette Julie Dorenbos, Eric Cortes from Telemundo Philadelphia, WMMR associate producer Marissa Magnatta, Partner at T2 Consultants LLC Nina Tinari, Anastasia Karloutsos, co-owner of Water Works Restaurant, CW Philly/CBS3 Kharisma Mcllwane, and Managing Editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Mike Days.  Each dancer is paired with an instructor from the Society Hill Dance Academy.

Hosted by the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, all proceeds will benefit research and education of Sickle Cell Disease.

WHEN: April 22, 2012. 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
