Hand And Stone Massage And Facial Spa In Denver

Living Social deals are difficult to commit to: I am never able to decide if the service or product is worth the investment given the short time the deal is available. I recently purchased a sixty minute facial for $29 (valued at $80) from Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa as I am a stickler for facial skin care. After a few stressful weeks at work (breakouts and dullness to boot), I decided to redeem my voucher on a Sunday evening.

Upon arrival at Hand and Stone I was greeted with a friendly hello, a cool glass of water and a skin survey to better customize my facial. While the lounge area isn’t necessarily reminiscent of a spa (large, lit product displays and bright white walls), the calming music and relaxing demeanor of the employees helped ease me into the experience. I was soon greeted by my esthetician, Sylvia, who herself had beautiful skin, so I knew I was in good hands.

Sylvia led me to a private spa room where she reviewed my skin survey and looked over my face carefully (without judgment!). I was very at ease while Sylvia listened to my expectations for the facial. As soon as I lay down on the soft sheets of the spa bed, I felt as though I could fall asleep. The dim lights, soft music, and pampering by Sylvia only increased my relaxation.  Aside from the atmosphere, the facial itself was wonderful. Sylvia provided great insight on the products she used, without talking my ear off. The icing on the cake was the shoulder and neck massage I received while my mud mask dried. Little did I know my skin would still be fresh and glowing for days to come.

The hour flew by, and while I relished the last few moments of lying in peace, I reluctantly got up to check out.   The Living Social voucher covered the entire cost of my service, minus gratuity. As I stumbled out of Hand and Stone in a blissful relaxed stupor, I couldn’t think of a better way to end the weekend (except maybe taking another day off).
