It’s that time of year again for the Junior League of Atlanta’s annual Tour of Kitchens on Saturday, March 24th from 10:00am – 4:00pm & Sunday, March 25th from 11:00am – 5:00pm! A rain or shine event, this 15 year League tradition is a two-day event that offers a sneak peek into 14 of the most spectacular local kitchens created by Atlanta’s top designers.
Tour of Kitchens is one of the Junior League of Atlanta’s signature fundraisers. The League focuses on improving the health, education and welfare of women and children by supplying trained women volunteers to community partners. Partner agencies include but are not limited to the Atlanta Children’s Shelter, Atlanta Speech School, Grow Kids and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Toast of the Tour serves as a kick-off for the Tour of Kitchens. The Toast of the Tour starts the festivities on Friday, March 23rd to the sounds of musical group, Yacht Rock Revue. Guests will enjoy cooking demonstrations and tastings showcasing top taste-makers. Featured chef demonstrations are by Chef Linton Hopkins of Restaurant Eugene, General Manager and Mixologist of Rosebud, Jeff Jackson, and Country Club of the South’s award winning chef, Philippe Haddad and many more. Philanthropic investors of Toast of the Tour will also enjoy a silent auction, wine and beer bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
