Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine Hosts Tour Of The Residences At W Atlanta To Benefit High Museum

Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine and The Residences at W Atlanta–Downtown have teamed up to present the first-ever High Style High Rise Home Tour benefiting the High Museum of Art. Six homes at The Residences at W Atlanta–Downtown have been remarkably transformed by six of Atlanta’s most prominent interior designers with furniture and accessories from local showrooms. The tour kicked off last Thursday with a VIP preview party and runs through April 1, 2012.

The six designers and their furniture partners include Michel Boyd with Bradley Hughes, Barbara Westbrook with Room & Board, Amy Morris with The Mercantile, William Peace with Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Kerry Howard with Refined Home Boutique, and Susan Ferrier with R Hughes Showroom. The show homes range from an elegant one bedroom with feminine charm and a larger-than-life Gone with the Wind wall mural, to a sweeping two bedroom residence with incredibly luxurious wall treatments and unexpected seating areas. All homes showcase stunning city views that only the floor-to-ceiling windows at The W Atlanta–Downtown can provide.

Proceeds from the tour benefit Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, the southeast’s leading art museum and the only major art museum in North America to have a curatorial department dedicated exclusively to the field of folk and self-taught art.
