LePA Skincare is hosting a night full of fun and beauty to celebrate International Women’s Day this Thursday March 8th, 2012. International Women’s Day has been observed since the early 1900’s, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw a booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies. It is a time to recognize hard-working women and all their glory!
Owners of LePA Skincare, Sam and Manja, were drawn together by fate. Manja is from Slovenia where she grew up learning medical esthetics from her mother who opened and operated a spa there. Sam, from Texas, was stationed at an Air Force base in north Italy (about an hour from Slovenia). The two met when Sam was on break from duty and they fell in love instantly. Sam and Manja opened LePA Skincare in Austin which offers a healthy mix of European skincare with Texas infusion and hospitality.
LePA offers European inspired services including massages, body scrubs, body wraps, cellulite treatments, electrolysis and facials. All of the techniques and products used during your treatment at LePA originate from the family spa in Central Europe. The products used at the spa are made of all natural ingredients with a focus on protecting the environment and animal rights.
LePA invites you to celebrate International Women’s Day at the spa while indulging in treats, sweets and cocktails; shopping items from local vendors, enjoying music from DJ Catwalk, spa tours and exclusive offers on spa services booked during the party. A portion of the proceeds from the celebration will benefit healincomfort4achange.org, an organization that offers post-operative recovery shirts to mastectomy patients affected by breast cancer. The philosophy at LePA is based on providing quality care and creating honest and meaningful relationships. Visit the LePA event blog to find out more information!
