The Long Center For The Performing Arts in Austin Presents An Evening With Deepak Chopra

Heralded as a leader in the field of mind-body medicine, Deepak Chopra continues to transform the meaning of what constitutes good health and mindful living, tying physical well-being with teachings that make connections between mind and spirit. “On the field of all possibilities,” he continues to transport us there.

From “Deepak Quotes”:
“The whole of reality is contained in the present moment. If you have your full attention in the moment you will see only love.”

From “Deepak Wellbeing: Choices and Yin/Yang in 2012” by Chopra and Annie B. Bond:
“Your life is a product of your awareness. Every choice follows from that, and so does every step of growth.”

From the man himself:
“Be mindful of how you release your negativity so that it does not reflect back into your reality.”

Personally, I believe that you do manifest what you keep your attention on. Years ago when I was in the habit of listening in my car to Chopra from a cassette tape that had been loaned to me, it just so happened that I somehow “materialized” double payment for a couple of writing jobs I’d done. When I walked my check back to the office to point out the mistake, I was only told, “Merry Christmas,” although it was high summer. How can one argue with a response like that?

If the Future of Wellbeing is indeed part of the realm of “Healing, Transformation, and Higher Consciousness” as it promises to be, what else might we be capable of? Come on out and see for yourself.
