Miss A Columnist

Brooklyn native Leneille Brathwaite claims she's woman of many talents but a master of none, well not as yet. A publicist, event planner, wedding coordinator, barista, entertainment blogger, and recently mother of a baby boy, this Georgia State University graduate has a new found appreciation to the city of Atlanta and would love to share all of her finds with her readers. Daughter of a chemical engineer and registered nurse, the path to a normal career never appealed to her. With respect, but total lack of interest to health care and science industry, she chose writing as an escape from reality in which nobody could determine or limit her possibilities. "The ability to give opinions, events and entertainment in words is the ultimate challenge-but alike many other tough situations I've been in, I've found that nothing is as hard as it seems." If you have an Atlanta charity or cultural event, restaurant, boutique, spa, or salon you would like covered on Miss A, please contact Leneille at Leneilleb@yahoo.com.

Wear Red Atlanta: Support The American Heart Association At Events Across The City

National Wear Red Day is less than a month away and what better way to celebrate than local events in the Atlanta area? From Buckhead to downtown, there is something close by that will give you an opportunity to support a great cause and look cute at the same time. Fund raising at these events will go to countless hours of research for a cure to cardiovascular disease, the number one killer in Georgia. You can show off your red attire in support by sending a tweet to @atlantaheart for a chance to win special prizes during Go Red for Women Connect Event.
