Ginger Detox Tea

Ginger is anti-viral and soothes the digestion. It’s also warming to your body, and calms an upset stomach pronto. This is one of my favorite winter time drinks. The added lemon is detoxifying and alkalizing, perfect for post-holiday body-system clean-up.

Ginger Detox Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece fresh ginger, about 2 inches
  • 2 organic lemons, peeled
  • cayenne pepper
  • liquid stevia (NuNaturals brand is my favorite– the lemon flavor is perfect for this tea)

Add ginger and lemons to your high speed blender and blend.
Use about 6 tsp of this mixture and hot water to a large mug, with a few drops stevia. A shake of cayenne is optional.
