Barry Manilow To Perform Old And New Favorites At The Chicago Theatre

Fanilows can rejoice! Barry Manilow is back in Chicago on his current tour. Though he recently had hip surgery, the Emmy, Tony, and Grammy-winning singer has recuperated to perform for his shows at Chicago Theatre. The multi-platinum star will bring his glamourous show right to downtown Chicago.

Manilow will perform his greatest hits, like ” Mandy” and ” Copacabana”. He will also sing new songs from his latest album, 15 Minutes. The album will have all original material, his first in years after releasing cover albums. Manilow is a classic performer, but still is cultually relevant today, from name-checking Lady Gaga in an interview to appearing on the Fox animated sitcom Family Guy.

Manilow is not only a legendary entertainer, but he’s a great philanthropist as well.  His Manilow Music Project is part of his nonprofit organization, the Manilow Health and Hope Fund. The music project donates musical instruments to schools nationwide when schools cut back on arts classes.  The program has also helped students affected by the devastating tornado in Joplin, Missouri. Fans can even donate to help the program . Manilow’s charity also donates scholarships to students at Northwestern University. The Health and Hope Fund is Manilow’s way of showing he hasn’t forgotten his roots and wants to give back.  Catch the humanitarian and veteran singer-songwriter at the Chicago Theatre next month.
