On Thursday, January 5th the season premiere of “Project Runway All Stars” aired and had fans buzzing. Some of our favorites from the past were back to battle it out including Anthony Williams, Austin Scarlett, Mila Hermanovski, and Mondo Guerra. The first challenge was (of course, we called it) unconventional. The designers were given a one hundred dollar budget at the 99 cents store in Manhattan and started hot glue gunning away! The top two came down to Mondo and Rami Kashou whos designs reminded the judges of Paris couture. In the end, Rami won the challenge and Elisa Jimenez was sent home.
“Project Runway” is a little weird without the original judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and mentor Tim Gunn, but the new panel of judges are great as well. Hosted by Angela Lindvall, judged by Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, and mentored by Joanna Coles this season should be exciting, fun, and original!
