Pizza Pub In New York’s Gramercy Neighborhood

If you’re looking for a good happy hour spot central to Manhattan, the Pizza Pub is your spot. I first went to the Pizza Pub on a cold winter’s night last year. I was ready to eat my arm off, was seeking shelter from the frigid temperatures, and a long day at work made me want a beer. Upon entering the Pizza Pub, you enter a warm pub/restaurant. I was happily surprised by the quiet “lounge like” atmosphere. Quaint, quiet, and casual. The perfect after work spot. With a slogan like “a pint, a slice, and a shot”, how can you go wrong?

It has a casual atmosphere with its “first come” seating and wrap around bar. Comfortable booths, tall tables, and artsy decor make the location perfect to watch a game or hang out with friends.

The unique part about the Pizza Pub isn’t its beverages or food choice. You know what you’re getting with the name; you’re stuck with mostly beer and pizza. What makes the Pizza Pub special is the daily deal. With every drink, you get a free slice of pizza. With every pitcher, you get a free whole round pie. If you’re going out for a drink, why not get something to eat at no cost? The bartenders are nice, they have a good beer selection, and the five cheese pizza was out of this world. Is it a five star restaurant? No. But it’s a
great place to start or end the night.
