Enjoy your holiday shopping even more by shopping for a good cause. Doing good by having fun and crossing items off your holiday list is the best way to spend the day. And spending money to benefit an important cause like Georgetown University Hospital’s pediatric oncology program is better than dressing in a red suit and white beard.
Created in 2006 by the Four Season Hotel Washington, JDS Designs, Inc., and The Washington Design Center, the Georgetown Jingle raises money for pediatric oncology programs in the Washington DC Metro area.
In the past, the Georgetown Jingle has raised $1.7 million in support of Georgetown University Hospital’s pediatric oncology programs, specifically the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Program (in collaboration with Duke University Medical Center) and the Cancer Survivorship Program
This year they will extend their support to include the development of a pediatric palliative care program. Over the past five years more than 100 designers from around the country have participated in the Jingle, enjoyed the culinary offerings of 50 chefs, and welcomed more than 3500 guests. This event has grown to include a Children’s Workshop courtesy of CVS/pharmacy, holiday tastings by leading DC chefs, the DC Magazine Sports Lounge, amazing entertainment and incredible silent auction and raffle items.
Please join the incredible team of supporters by sponsoring the Jingle or donating to the auction. Come celebrate the 6th Annual Georgetown Jingle on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Four Seasons Hotel Washington. The Georgetown Jingle operates under the Georgetown University Hospital Foundation, Federal Tax ID Number: 52-2339873.
