Microsoft opened its First Microsoft Store on the East Coast and it is in the Tysons Corner Center. A full service store offering computers, accessories, software, phones, the Xbox console and Kinect.
The best part about the Microsoft store is that you will get hands on time with all of their products and a knowledgeable staff that can help you get top notch service and find the right product to fit every customers needs. I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Grand Opening on Thursday, November 17, 2011 and get a first hand view of the store. The excitement by the staff was contagious and you could not help but cheer as the ribbon was cut.
In addition to buying products or asking questions, customers can get trained on any device in the store. The store offers one-on-one personal training that you can add on to the purchase of a computer or without the purchase of a computer, but for a device that you already own. It includes training on their Office programs such as Excel.
The new store is now open and on the second level of the Tysons Corner Center. Just in time for the holidays, stop by say hi and see what you need or who on your list could use a personalized training program.
