As the leaves change and the weather gets cooler, there’s no better time to schedule for a day of pampering. These local spas are offering some great deals this month, just in time to celebrate the changing seasons.

Gene Juarez Salon & Spa

In honor of their 40th year, Gene Juarez Salon & Spa is offering up some amazing seasonal specials. Valid Monday to Friday through November 4, you’ll get any of the following for just $40: A custom haircut, petite facial, glycolic peel or a petite pedicure. Or, get a 90-minute massage for the price of a 60-minute massage (prices depend on massage type). Call 425-373-3710 to schedule: Make sure to mention the “Celebrating 40 Beautiful Years” special, and bring the printable certificate with you to your appointment.

Elaia Spa at Hyatt at Olive 8

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month: In honor, Elaia Spa at Hyatt at Olive 8 is offering 10 percent off all nail services in October, and donating 20 percent of their SpaRitual In Pink nail lacquer collection (including pink-inspired shades “Knowledge,” “Strength” and “Clarity”) sales to “Cancer Schmancer,” an early detection organization started by actress and uterine cancer survivor Fran Drescher.

Or, take advantage of the spa’s happy hour specials this month: You’ll get a 20-minute oxygen blast with a glass of champagne for just $20 on Mondays, or a mojito and mini pedicure for $20 on Thursdays, both between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

For the week leading up to Halloween (October 24 – 31), Elaia’s offering a “Buried Alive” 30-minute herbal wrap for $40 (normally a $50 price tag); “Spike and Nails” manicure and/or pedicure treatment, served with a specialty spiked-punch cocktail ($35 for a mani or $45 for a pedi); and a “Rest in Peace” massage using lavender-inspired products (pricing depends on massage type). And for the week just following the spookiest day of the year (November 1 – 5), the spa’s offering 15 percent off all facials to restore skin after Halloween make-up and late nights.
