Known for classic elegance and understated style, Anne Hathaway has taken on the role as spokesperson for the Signature Collection for Tods handbags. Tods has always promised quality, style, and a classic twist to today’s modern trends. The fair-skinned beauty took a break from filming her latest movie The Dark Knight Rises to travel to London and shoot the campaign with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The designer’s newest collection aims towards a younger audience, hence the choosing of Hathaway by creative director of Fabien Baron.

Anne recently made a statement praising Duchess Kate Middleton about making a classic, sophisticated style popular again. Middleton is also known for  carrying a Tods bag every now and again, so perhaps the days of bare-legged, down-to-there blouses, and heavy eyeliner will soon diminish, thanks to these classy ladies promoting the style and the designer together.

Tods website has yet to make the campaign live on the site, but is expected to launch by the end of the fall season.
