Fannie Mae Help The Homeless Walkathon In Capitol Heights, MD

There are many wonderful charities and organizations in place these days, especially those which help the less fortunate such as Fannie Mae Help the Homeless and United Communities Against Poverty Prince George’s County (UCAPPGC).  When these two entities join forces, the results are even more successful.  This year Fannie Mae Help the Homeless and UCAPPGC are joining together in a Help the Homeless Mini-Walkathon.  Sponsored by Wegmans and My Bougie Baby, this walkathon on October 22, 2011 is sure to yield fantastic results.

This mini-walkathon will take place at Shepherd’s Cove from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The funds received from the mini-walkathon will go directly to help one of the Fannie Mae Help the Homeless beneficiaries, UCAPPGC.  This money makes it possible for UCAPPGC to provide services to homeless individuals within Prince George’s County and open up a whole new world of possibilities for these individuals who are eager to make a new start and need some assistance doing so.
