The devilishly, delightful dysfunction of The Addams Family comes to life in a new musical by authors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. The original play based on the T.V. classic has been given a modern twist- Gomez and Morticia’s once perfectly creepy daughter Wednesday has done the unthinkable by bringing home a nice, normal boy from a respectable family. The freaky fun begins when the Addams household is turned downside up as they are forced to host a dinner party for Wednesday’s new beau and his parents.
Grandma-ma, Pugsley, Lurch and Uncle Fester all crawl out of the woodwork in a show that has been pleasing the crowds of the Great White Way for over a year. Music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa will have the audience snapping their fingers to the theme song that even Thing has memorized.
