As a Carrie-Bradshaw idolizer who lives in Louboutins, Ashley is ready to tackle New York City, one fashion show at a time. Her favorite designers include Betsey Johnson, Christian Siriano, Alexander McQueen and Balmain and wouldn't be caught dead in harem pants or anything by Ed Hardy.

Kim Kardashian’s Black and White Wedding Style

Ever since NBA player Kris Humphries put that 20.5-carat rock on Kim Kardashian’s finger, fashionistas were a buzz about what the style obsessed reality star would wear to her Aug 20th fairytale wedding.

While the bride’s dress won’t be totally revealed until Friday when PEOPLE Magazine, who has the exclusive photos,  hits newsstands, the world did get a glimpse of Princess Kim who was determined to give Kate Middleton a run for her money.

Designed by Vera Wang, Kim’s ceremony gown was a traditional princess silhouette, ivory custom-designed and strapless with full tulle skirt, basque waist, hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and epic” train.

Accessorized in Giuseppe Zanotti heels and back set veil, Kim’s most eye catching piece was a unique diamond and pearl headpiece draped across her forehead, part of the $10 million of diamonds she donned on her wedding day.

But the bride wasn’t the only one to wear white. While typically a faux paux, her 400+ guests, were under strict instructions to wear only black or white in order to give the event an old Hollywood feel. Celeb guest Lindsay Lohan wore a revealing body hugging silk white gown while Eva Longoria opted for an elegant black gown.

Perhaps inspired by this year’s most famous maid of honor, Pippa Middleton, Kim’s bridesmaids sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and maid and matron of honor sisters Kourtney and Khloe, all wore fitted white dresses. Flamboyant and ever hungry to steal some attention, the mother of the bride also wore a wore a strapless white gown with a questionable oversized bow by Vera Wang.

Kim had at least two more outfits she was planning to change into, both Vera Wang and both ivory for the reception.
