As the warm weather sets in, I see more and more people outside enjoying the change in seasons. This means it’s time to spruce up the screened in porch, patio and/or deck, because summer is just around the corner! I personally love those summer nights where you can sit out on the deck and enjoy a nice glass of wine or refreshing glass of iced tea after a long day. I especially enjoy my comfy lounge chair and some candles for ambient lighting. If you are wanting to relax outside this summer, but don’t know where to find good outdoor furniture, look no further than JANUS et Cie in Georgetown.
I got to see the JANUS showroom when I visited last year for their first annual cookie contest around the holiday season, and I was immediately impressed by the set up. Besides the really friendly and helpful staff, the showroom offers examples of several lines of furniture and hundreds of fabrics. The showroom has several pieces on the floor, so it’s easy to test out their offerings. JANUS et Cie takes outdoor furniture to a level of cool and sophistication that reminds me of staying at a resort. From classic to sculptural, their furniture comes in all different shapes and sizes, and I would recommend JANUS to anyone looking for a fresh look in their outdoor space. Ask for Paul Fogg, Laura Fox or Catherine Bingham. They are super nice and very talented at finding an outdoor solution tailored to your needs.
