On Thursday, June 9 at 7:00 pm, join the Starlight Mid-Atlantic Young Professionals Council as they host a summer White Party at Tabaq Bistro. Funds raised will be used to help seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear, and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.

In 2010, Starlight MidAtlantic partnered with 154 hospitals and treatments centers providing ongoing support to more than 216,000 children and family members in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC, and West Virginia. This was made possible thanks to the generous support of 300 dedicated volunteers.
While doctors work to heal children’s bodies, Starlight MidAtlantic heals their spirits through programs that are a unique blend of technology-driven tools and fun-filled special events; in the hospital, in the community, and on the Web. Unlike any other organization, the programs offered by Starlight MidAtlantic are designed to help the entire family on a continual basis from diagnosis, through treatment, and long afterwards.
So, pull out your summer whites; crisp cotton shirts, white jeans, that Lilly Pulitzer white dress, and perhaps a quick spray tan (I’ve heard St. Tropez is one of the best) and enjoy a few drinks with friends on the rooftop while supporting a very worthwhile cause.
