Winner of awards from ASCAP and Boston Music Awards, Lori McKenna has performed at the Sundance Film Festival, the Newport Folk Festival, and many
other sold-out venues in the Northeast. An acclaimed folk singer/songwriter, this New England native made her name on the national folk-rock scene and gained recent attention when Faith Hill recorded four of McKenna’s songs and took her on tour alongside Tim McGraw. Her new album Lorraine has just been released. McKenna will perform with Sean McConnell at the Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts on Saturday, May 28th in a special benefit for The Nature Connection, a non-profit organization that brings nature, animals and the arts to people with limited access to the natural world.
