Royal Wedding Celebrations in the Washington, DC Area

With the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton fast approaching, it’s time to start planning a British-themed celebration (April 29th at 6:00 a.m. EST will be here before we know it!).  Didn’t make the final cut of Will and Kate’s guest list?  Not to worry- there are plenty of celebrations that don’t require crossing the pond. Againn DC:  Up until April 29th, this English gastropub , located in the Mount Vernon Square neighborhood,  is offering two “sweet” specials inspired by the desserts that will be served at Will and Kate’s reception, Chocolate Biscuit Cake and Fruit Cake.  Proceeds from the purchase of either cake will go to a Royal Charity Fund.
