On Thursday, April 21st, San Francisco’s young and hip will convene at Tonic Bar to support The Arc of San Francisco. The Arc provides services to over 500 adults with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental disabilities. The event is organized by the Pulse of The Arc, their young professionals board.
Tonic Bar, Polk Street’s hip watering hole, will feature guest bartenders including: Jesse Caid, Matt Azzi, Aaron Monts, Reem Assafe, Nani Boone, and Shawn Hensling. You can enjoy one of Tonic’s many libations such as the renowned Jalapeno Peach Martini or Cucumber Mint Crusher with all tips going directly to The Arc.
Proceeds from this event will go towards The Arc’s programs, which include employment training, residential services, and health and wellness support. The Arc was founded in 1951 with the mission of providing services to San Francisco’s developmentally disabled community. The foundation empowers clients by teaching them job skills, connecting them with employers so they may make the most of their skills and live a productive, dignified life. In turn, the clients provide an invaluable services to their employers, not just by the jobs they perform but the life lessons they teach.
In addition to fabulous guest bartenders and drinks, there will be raffle prizes. Come support The Arc and have a lively, fun-filled evening.
