Miss A Columnist

Lauren Pazzaneze is a frank critic of art and pop culture, with an MA in Arts Administration and BFA in Media and Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has spent the past 5 years experiencing the arts as much as writing about them, including stints on the runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, attending gallery openings and film festivals, interviewing the leading minds in the museum world and taking to task those who hide behind convoluted artspeak in an attempt to alienate the masses, rather than include them. A perfect night for Lauren is a walk through the Boston MFA, with wine in one hand, and a good friend in the other.

CupcakeCamp 2011 at Center for Arts at the Armory

Is there anything sweeter in life than childhood camp memories?  What about CupcakeCamp memories? CupcakeCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and eat cupcakes in an open environment. Learn more about CupcakeCamps around the globe atwww.cupcakecamp.org.   If I remember correctly, my summer camp wasn’t smothered in frosting and drizzled in sprinkles so I’m going to go with cupcake camp for the win on this one.

CupcakeCamp takes place on April 13th at the Center for Arts at the Armory. Sponsored by King Arthur Flour, CupcakeCamp welcomes a host of ridiculously delicious bakeries conjuring up their tastiest, most indulgent cupcakes for your enjoyment.  Enjoy the work of Babycakes, Cakeology, cupcake Mo-Jo, Petsi Pies and so many more.
