Intimidation, risk, and blunders are definitely part of the process of launching your own business. However, the positive outgrowth of entrepreneurship is security that you can control, improved confidence, more freedom than you’ve ever experienced, and activated creativity.
I’m currently engaged in the “Become a Fearless Entrepreneur Program”, a three month course that provides women with the tools, resources, and connections to launch their own business, with the Fearless Women Entrepreneur Network (FWEN). FWEN’s program provides a killer combination of both fun and the quality instruction. Business experts offer coaching and training in business planning, marketing, and finance, but the program also incorporates team competitions and challenging case studies. My favorite element of the program is my resilient, bold, and incredibly intelligent family of women entrepreneurs. They are both my cheering squad when the going gets tough and my advisory board who makes honest recommendations so that my business is not only profitable, but also aligned with my core values.
Women are starting businesses at twice the rate of men. Instead of being stuck under the glass ceiling in the corporate world, women can use those experiences from the corporate arena as the glass floor and foundation onto which they build their own businesses. FWEN’s Social Media Marketing Group, events, and “Become a Fearless Entrepreneur Program” empower women to succeed through mentors, education, and inspiration.
