Hustle up the Hancock is a world class stair climb in Chicago on February 27th, 2011. Participants climb either 52 or 94
floors of stairs in Chicago’s famous John Hancock Center located in downtown Chicago to raise funds for lung disease research, advocacy, and education. Each year the event hosts over 4,000 participants. In 2009, 2,500 of the participants noted that they or someone they know has been touched by a form of lung disease.
Interested on getting involved? Registration is closed for the half and full climb, but space is available for Lung Health Champion ($1,000 commitment). Also check out the Breathe Right Post-Event Expo and Celebration located at Hilton Suites Chicago/Magnificent mile. Climbers and guests are invited to enjoy free food, entertainment, and exhibitors from 7:30 am to 3:00pm. While you are in the Hancock tower, visit the John Hancock Observatory. The observatory offers views of four states, telescopes, a sky walk, and cafe. For more information, check out the website for Hustle up the Hancock.
